Nowhere! Some yahoo shot his girlfriend, fired shots at an officer on the freeway about a quarter mile from my house, then rolled his car a mile up the road. The three lanes of the interstate are closed and are being diverted down the two lane road that usually is already packed about this time.

It just keeps getting better:

The police chase also involved a three-vehicle chain-reaction crash, Virginia State Police said. After the trooper’s car was struck near the 138 mile marker, he stopped his cruiser, causing a vehicle traveling behind him to rear-end his car. A second car then rear-ended the first. I hope the girlfriend survives.

I used to always wonder what could make a person crazy enough to shoot someone they at least loved at one point in time, until something (which I won’t go into here) happened to me. I get it now.

I feel like that could be applied to a lot of things. Until it happens to you, it’s hard to fully understand.
